and it got finished before the con!! i'm super happy with how she turned out. i got a lot of compliments about it too. 💜 i ended up not using the scarf/cowl I made because it was too hot. maybe next time i'll try to tackle the coat she wears so I can??? who knows. either way, i love cosplaying Fern.

all hemmed up! the neckline has me stressing ngl...
hopefully sewing on the trim will secure everything. then it'll be finishing touches and adjustments.

we got all the fabric cut out (with some help)
and i was able to finger-knit a big chunky cowl in like... an hour? i surprised myself with how quick it was to make it!

I'm way too excited about reuniting with these two manga series. I foolishly sold them off during in my weeb denial phase in college.
Sometimes you just need to randomly stop by your local 2nd & Charles because Hobby Town closed earlier than expected.
I can't wait to find more volumes of both!
