I was browsing reddit to help cope with rewatching s08, and I came across this post. I definitely understand Phaedra didn't support Kandi, it is also impossible to support Kandi in the situations she was dealing with. You can't talk about her money, her mama, or her man and that was what was going

I just recently finished the season before dungeon gate and the whole saga about them not being close at the time and there were things Kandi was also going through that were heavy to her. Being a newlywed who wasn’t having sec and thinking Todd was possibly cheating while gone for long periods weighed on her. Going low contact with her mom and then having her mom and Todd’s mom ready to fight weighed on her. Her play tour being canceled suddenly and last minute and Gavin to lay off all the people she had involved weighed on her. She reveals at the reunion that she also had a family member who was sentenced to prison around that time and that it weighed on her. All of which she said she wasn’t reached out about either. Phaedra minimized what Kandi was going through, expected more, and gave little. Kandi acknowledge what Phaedra was going through even though she disagreed with some of her actions, expected nothing, and also gave little. I think they both had merit to be upset but I think one was fine dealing by herself and one wasn’t. But both weren’t checking for one another’s weights and burdens. My nickel.

I just signed up for @thestorygraph.com and it looks good so far. I was a bit put-off by the AI-generated StoryGraph preview request, but it was easy to deny (can be turned on in prefs later for those who are interested). How are people feeling about this use of AI?
