Some watercolor studies and digital doodles from this past month. I've got a new job, so I haven't worked on a big drawing project in a while. Given how tired I've been lately, I think my creativity will have to come in microdoses for a while.

Watercolor Rkgk
So I had this cute idea to draw Flay with X at an amusement park for his birthday, but I didn't have time for it in the end so I ended up using the idea for watercolor practice. I'm actually the slowest artist to ever art... Either way, a watercolor sketch of Machina X Flayon and his counterpart X at an amusement park. Some machiroon hot air balloons lay in the background of a night sky. A moon hovers above a Ferris wheel and a spinning teacup ride. Same as the first picture, just a few more painted areas in this "after" shot. I didn't finish this artwork because I made a few mistakes with color choice, setting in some messy pencil lines by painting over them, and wonky anatomy with X. I'd have to use a lot of material and effort to white out and change those details so I don't think I'll return to this. But I do think this was good practice. I'm proud of this doodle!

I started this Pocket Mirror sketch a long time ago. I am finally adding color and lines to a few characters.

Hopefully I'll get quicker and more consistent about my drawings.

Experimenting with the watercolors and markers I got over Christmas. I don't know what I'm doing, but occasionally adding random colors to this sketch is a nice destressor.
