A friendly bumblebee I found on my carpet this morning when I woke up. They must have been looking for warm leaves to hide under. After losing Chicken Nugget (our head rooster) yesterday to a neighbor's dog attack this made me feel a bit better. #loss #bumblebee #grief #chicken #rooster
A tiny bumblebee crawling on my thumb. They are fuzzy and soft. They have the normal yellow and black stripes except for 3 on their thorax which are bright orange. I've only seen these kinds when I moved up here to Maine. Apparently, they are called Orange-belted bumblebee. Makes sense. I didn't see any in Connecticut when I lived there so these guys are new to me but i love them. I put the little fella outside and the wind blew it into the grass and leaves. Hopefully it can find shelter.

Stella has relaxed more and started getting her blue tint. She also has fanned out and now looks more like a lotus flower which was why I bought this particular succulent. The advertised image showed them as almost like a blueish-looking lotus shape and I liked that.

My sona of myself from the shoulders up. They are in a white tunic with gold edging and a silver sash over their arm. I made their wings tiny shivi wings behind them and one of the black wolf ears stands tall while the other tilts to the side. They are grinning amused while covering one eye with their tattooed hand. Since I have the Assassins Creed Origins logo on one of their fingers as a tattoo I thought it would be fun to use that as a way to depict one eye as it is an "Eye of Ra/Horus" symbol in the Assassins Creed logo. The other eye has some kohl under the eye and the same marking as on the hand (Rye of Ra/Horus) under it. The golden ring around the pupil is glowing and giving off a cool effect. The background I did a golden border to frame the picture and a black background with purple/black water and blue bioluminescent glow to it. I'm on a bit of an Egypt Mythology phase again.

Today I saved a baby raccoon from my dogs. It was cornered under some scrap metal we have in the yard. We tried to call Fish and Game to rehab it cuz it had a hurt leg. They told us to release it at night. Unfortunately, the injuries (not caused by dogs) were worse than we thought...
Cute picture of the baby raccoon in our spare chicken coop sleeping curled up in a ball. It is small and covering its face with its hands. Unfortunately, it was likely hit by a car as what I thought was one broken leg was the whole back end hurt and possibly paralyzed. As much as we wanted the little fella to be ok we felt it was best to put him out of his misery as rehabs won't take them in due to rabies concerns. Apparently, raccoons are highest likelihood to get that.

My Family found this full snake skin on some wood we were using for the goat toy we were building. It's a complete, fairly large, Garter Snake skin with the head and all. (Anyone else think it was Gardner Snake? No... just me?)
