this piece was so difficult to put together. i "gave up" on it multiple times and went through four other versions before this one. i'm really happy that it turned out well and that i kept trying and experimenting to get to this point

i was going to make some washi "tape" for a journal with some scrap paper and old brush markers but while I was figuring out how to blend the markers this happened. the paper is around 8cm x 8cm (3 inch x 3 inch) so it's a much smaller space than i'm used to but i enjoyed the process.

yesterday i finished reading The Tea Dragon Festival by K. O'Neill and i really enjoyed it. i drew this in what began as a free drawing session and i definitely think the book influenced this piece. anyway The Tea Dragon Festival is amazing and i highly recommend folks pick it up #digitalart

i'm in the process of looking at different shows and films i like to learn more and try out new things. i used a screenshot from the 90s Sailor Moon as a jumping off point for this one and although it went off in its on direction, i enjoyed putting it together #DigitalArt #Art #SketchbookPro
