Thanks for the tip. I’m moving in less than two weeks so it doesn’t seem worth it for the current non-optimal dishwasher anyway. I actually don’t mind doing dishes by hand at this point in my life—I’m so used to it.

Meh. Every time I’ve lived in a house with a dishwasher, it leaves dried food all over the dishes. One washer clearly wasn’t using any water all. You could see baked detergent smears on the bottom of the washer & baked food on the dishes. So I just do it by hand in the first place. One and done.

Probably locations inherited from a chain they gobbled up. I worked for a short time at Thrifty’s while in college and was a proud member of UFCW. Thrifty’s was bought out by someone—I assume Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid, the only 3 drugstore chains left in the U.S.

He's trying to dance though. Did you watch the whole thing? he sways and keeps time with his hand placed where his heart should be. It comes across as somewhat awkward.

What happens when it is the government that is lawless? Who protects us then?
November 11, 2025 at 7:39 PM
There actually is already a program to take the pressure off inadequately resourced law enforcement agencies. It's called COPS grants (cops.usdoj.gov/grants). It does not require militarizing daily life in America.
Grants | COPS OFFICE
Access resources and guidance to ensure compliance, reporting, and effectively manage COPS Office awards.

1) Will a reporter as him to please list all the wars the US won between World War I and World War II?
2) The War of 1812 would like a word.

Thank you for your attention to this message.

Don’t we already know where Republicans stand on this? Hasn’t that been made abundantly clear? Genuinely interested in an explanation of how we don’t already know (assuming there is one).

Maik squeeeee! BabbyGonz is so cute I just want to hug him. Also, I love the “hobo tune” in the background. Gonzo the working class hero!

I have to be honest: I’m unaware of any alternative way to pronounce scone.

Love it! Please feel free to add me to #TeamOxfordComma!

Agree 100%. So annoying to be editing a paper that uses hyphens for em dashes. I always fix it. But I think some of the ‘utes thin I’m being pedantic. Ah well, so it goes…
November 11, 2025 at 11:59 AM
But how do you know how they pronounce it? Have you met them all and had it come up in conversation? And for your next one, can you do “People who insist on the #OxfordComma”? Thanks either way. 😄
