So rude and annoying, plus it reads as pushy and desperate.

Not to mention this on Facebook the other day — like “by the way we decided some of your notifications will make sounds now but you can hunt for the settings to change it back if you want”

I have similar thoughts and wonder about delivering some sort of mini tutorial on how to hold a microphone, get to the point, and ask before providing feedback…

A Canadian non-profit organization called MediaSmarts exists for this reason but media literacy really should be part of school curricula everywhere.
