24 tbh, i grew up extremely religious and that’s when i finally left

like, "being oppressed" shouldn't be central to your identity, even if your identity is one that is oppressed, because then you can become blind to how others are more oppressed than you because someone pointing out your privilege then becomes a challenge to your identity.
