Retro pop traditional/digital illustrator, OS ThunderCats series archivist, SkyWarn spotter for NWS. My life is sponsored by caffeine and spite.
My newest addition to my humble ThunderCats collection: a custom made Black Widow Shark to go along with Super7’s Ultimates line. Lights up, the jaw moves, the legs articulated. If you want one for your own collection, get a hold of @nickfromthundera on Instagram www.instagram.com/nickfromthun...

I must say, I'm sorry it took so long for my Christmas gift, the original ThunderCats logo as a lit-up sign, to find its place on my DreamBox. This just pops! 😍

I love getting creative by turning photo mailers into covers for my multimedia sketchbooks! It's a fun way to recycle and add a personal touch to protect something as essential as my sketches. The binding discs are styled for my left-hand drawing and writing needs.

I do photo-realistic pet illustrations, as well! These are couple of portraits out of several I've done over my 25-year art career.

These are examples of my Kraft brown circle illustration series, which I enjoyed but it didn’t seem to be popular.

Lunch bag art. If anyone has had to brown bag your lunch when you were a kid, you probably wished it had an image that properly shared your love of a beloved character (or more). Nostalgia on two levels wrapped in brown bag. These are not for food, however they come with a built in stand.

One of my favorite X-Men. Convention sketch on business card. (Channing Tatum for Gambit…just do better on the e hair-do; think David Tenant’s 10th Doctor Who with volume.)

Zombies, anyone? Art cards in Copic, Micron pens, on 2.5”x3.” card stock. In private collections.

Hey there! These are three pieces I painted on 8.5x11” desert sand cardstock: Matt Smith’s Doctor Who, Beeker from The Muppets, and Yoda from Star Wars. I decided to “upgrade” to desert sand cardstock from lunch bags to see if people were interested.

Here are my submissions to a “sketch” (art) card set depicting sea creatures such as fish, turtles, squid, octopus, sting ray, even a dolphin. I enjoyed doing these until I submitted them early, and it took some time to be paid for them; never did any sets after this one b/c of that.

Continuing my portfolio share — these are convention art card commissions.

I’d use “sketch” cards, however these cards stopped being anything sketch years ago. When one puts this amount of detail and color into a piece, it’s an art card.

I’ll post my best previous art card set contributions soon.

Hello there. I would have posted by now if I hadn’t been beaten down by the algorithms of other platforms to not even bother. Here’s me hoping I can finally socialize, share my art, and network positively and productively. Here are four artworks from my portfolio. More to share. Thank you!
