Question. When you’re directing on a tv show, do you get to look at the scripts and pick what you want to do? Or is it a case of you tell them when you’re available and get told what scripts are being filmed that time.

Honestly? A lot of movies are just so long these days. I’d much rather wait until I can watch them at my own pace.

I wonder if that is partly responsible for the adage that the Irish always answer a question with a question, because we can’t just say a simple yes or no.
