The Center for Food and Adequate Living Rights (CEFROHT) is a non-profit organization that uses legal tools to promote food justice and adequate living in East Africa.
We are advocating for a simplified Nutrient Profiling Model framework that sets clear, evidence-based thresholds for front-of-pack warning labels.

This policy tool is to enhance the visibility of nutritional information, for consumers to easily identify products high in sugar, salt, or fat.

African governments must act decisively to protect their people by promoting and enforcing sustainable, safe farming practices.
