How do we expect young people from battleground childhoods to suddenly come into our schools and "behave well"

Neuroscience tells us that young people with ACEs/ trauma shapes the developing brain, which manifests in behavioural problems overwhelming their ability to cope,impacting their stress regulatory capabilities.
