Yeah, what is with ending every message with thank you for your attention? Our church secretary has a close of "Thank you." She could be letting us know someone died. "Thank you". It's very distracting.

Tucson had a motor march. It took 90 minutes to go half a mile. Once I passed our standard protest area, I turned off. The irony is how much pollution was generated. Not me, I have an electric car. But at 106 degrees (luckily dry heat), my AC was definitely using the battery. Another reason I left.

I've seen two different counts for Tucson. 15,000 and 26,000. The organizers said they expected 5000. Boy howdy. I liked this sign. Another good one: are you tariff-ied yet?

I don't know how much he knows. Someone probably dopes him up when it's time for him to make a long, nonsensical speech. Other times, he just sits somewhere, or goes down to cheat at golf, until someone gives him an executive order and his Sharpie so he can sign and wave it around.

I always get irritated when people stand up for God Bless America. A. It's not our national anthem, and B. It's rude. What about all the other countries? Besides, for us, I think it's more God help America.

As a retired federal HR person, I don't understand how this can happen. Why are agency heads (not secretaries) allowing this?
