There's so much work to be done, and I want to start here.

I'm going to try to be more open, because, to be frank, I'm out of options now. There's truly no other roads for me and the reality of that is hitting me VERY hard.

Even just the idea of becoming the kind of person who unabashedly speaks through their work has been such a saving grace in the worst moments of my life. The problem is that being that kind of person is antithetical to the life I've lived and who've I've become.

I don't mean to be depressing, but I'm not in a particularly good place and it's affecting my capacity to create. Artwork is supposed to be an escape from these feelings but unless I learn to get over my hang-ups, I'll never have that reprieve.
