So I can see where the Godzilla-looking fixation comes from - we’re finally bulking up dragons! But I’m touched you see something different in Martalon. For him I was looking at birds, monitors and Komodo dragons. Staring at the living relatives for dinosaurs helped me piece him together.

The joy I had seeing these on-screen for the first time. All their variety and personality, down to the sound design. They’ve picked a visual direction for HotD without compromising on individuality between the dragons. But it’s easy to see where imitators could draw from. They’re beyond beautiful.
