Anyway, honestly, feeling like VtM even on a mechanical basis (which was where I felt it - the special abilities and the like) isn't a bad thing. Without an actual Masquerade, with how sires affect things, and the state of the world in general, it's just paying homage. 😊 /fin

To be fair, the "rags" part felt like the part that was least like VtM to me, but that's probably because I played a fairly well-off Clan Giovanni the one time I played, and mostly hung around conning the local Sheriff. I'd probably have seen more rags if I'd hung around the Nos. 1/
