And I don't even mean just like sexual indulgence or whatever. I mean that being raised Catholic combined with my other mental health conditions to make me averse to pretty much any kind of joy. If you're not careful you can raise a person to second-guess everything in life whenever they feel happy

It's crazy how averse to joy my religious upbringing and education made me. There are so many things in this life that make myself and my friends happy with no consequence and yet I've been conditioned to believe it's disgusting and damning. I'm taking my life back piece by piece
