Motivation aside, she is technically correct. Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a sexual attraction to *prepubescent* children. That does not diminish the extreme damage done to teenagers who are sexually abused by adult predators. All horrific.

Completely agree. And there's always a next level of poverty. The USAID shutdown has created a global humanitarian crisis, ending vital programs for millions. Some predict over 14 million additional deaths by 2030 due to these drastic aid cuts. And so many of us remain comfortably numb.
