@yumboshibuya.bsky.social is on bluesky, which makes me happy and is reason enough to permanently delete my account from the evil site (and listen to Onibi LP again)

Happy 25th birthday to Tara Jane ONeil's Peregrine, which created new intimate landscapes and dreams, one of those records that made me feel, see and smell my surroundings (and yeah, my city streets) differently. Secret and wonderful.

Eiko Ishibashi “Antigone”

I was about to write that @chtctr.bsky.social's Trickster Who Is Like God (2011) had fled the internet and that the world was missing something breathtaking, but here it is:

One of this year's gems. Each track reveals its subtlety, new details and inner spaces with each listen - sounding (to me) like inextricable dreams, not as tranquil as they first appear

This album has been my own nervous system, my own bloodstream for 28 years. And it's a perfect album with perfect songs. An unrivalled masterpiece of grainy, intranquil 'ambient' folk music. The "musical sound of the ever expanding sea".
