These past days, I have been playing (and finished) Cult of the Lamb on Ps5, loving it very much, except for the amount of bugs and freezes whenever the UI is about to show up :(

Otherwise, I'm enjoying being a cute but slightly murderous cult leader, making elders fight.

Rethinking my whole career there. I'm in Hayao Miyazaki mode today. There's no hope and the industry is sinking. Would there be more jobs if I became a developer instead?

It's Halloween and I need to make more ghosts-related illustrations. But I found this gif I made some years ago, it was based on a terrible man-eating beast (and totally not on a dog's skull), so be warned!

Here's what an "AI artist" is supposed to do.
Is it the future we are looking at? No thanks.

I've been reading Castle in the Stars by Alex Alice these past days. It's hard to capture the pages because the drawings and composition are so beautiful.

It's also good to feed our minds with something else than tv shows, graphic novels allow so much liberty in visuals and storytelling!

Rare selfie moment: I like that vest, but also hope I'm not gonna be too overdressed in there. But if you become British, gotta look the part, right?

I'm sorry but this is so shameful. I might start a thread with all the AI jobs I've seen during these hard times of having to deal with Linkedin. How can you be a Senior AI artist? Being a pro at typing prompts?

We'll have to solve whatever is going right now. I have so many talented friends with years of experience, crazy CVs, and absolutely jobless right now.

200%, these times will require some extra endurance and creativity. The industry isn't well and need some good rest/recovery. 🫠

It starts with "familiarity, openness and curiosity with AI" and it ends with you having no job.

(and digital interfaces with really bad consistency, nonsensical UX, and Ghibli AI as placeholder images of your new design)

That sounds like a plot I've heard before!

Yesterday I went to a neat little "draw on tables" pub night, it's really freeing to draw bigger formats and just going with a flow/not minding too much about what you're doing.
