When I landed back in Tucson my bud CJ Boyd asked me to play bass clarinet in Compersion, which I am so so thrilled to be doing. The music is beautiful, and it’s given me a serious excuse to spend most of my time sitting behind this instrument more than my sax. Next show on Sat:

Wandered up to mt Lemmon, as I tend to about once a month, to break up the desert and get some high alpine in the sky islands, climb from 1,000 ft to 9,000 right at the edge of Tucson, totally unique ecosystem, which is always a solid mental and physical reset
