At Fowler's Gap Research Station, we could tell how hot it was going to be each day by how close the wildlife was to the house. When I walked in and found a roo in the kitchen, I knew we were in for some extreme temperatures! #WildOz

#Comet C/2024 G3 Atlas (or at least its tail) is still visible here in the #southernhemisphere. Clearly seen by eye and spectacular with binoculars I enjoyed photographing it over a #saltlake in the WA wheatbelt.

It is the summer solstice. No better way to spend the longest day of the year than enjoying WA's gorgeous coast.

Love #summer in Perth. Enjoyed paddling around on the Mandurah estuary this weekend, watching birds and two species of ray foraging. #thisisWA

I spent some time at #PerthZoo recently updating materials for some of my undergraduate class #fieldtrips. Couldn't resist indulging in some #photography while I was there.

Your #PhD species is always special (especially if you were lucky enough to work on numbats!), so my clever and generous cousin painted this fantastic #numbat for me from one of my photos to hang in my office.
