I second the Pretty Litter recommendation - super-easy to use, scoops like a dream, and the cats love it.

I’ve used the grating blade in the food processor, and it works great! Makes scones super-easy!

I got a Remarkable tablet recently and I cannot praise it enough - I just write SO much more, because it’s so easy and pleasurable. (I’ve had iPads for eons, too, but I don’t think I’ve ever written a damn thing on any of them.)

Intriguing! I found Murdle a little repetitive - maybe I need to track down an FT issue…

You can buy pseudoephedrine in the UK, but they keep it behind the pharmacy counter and will only sell you one package. (The ones that don’t actually work are freely available on the shelves, but…)

I remember seeing Hadestown last year, and when Orpheus turned and looked, half the audience GASPED. (I was one part grumpy about our lack of classical education, and nine parts “Hell yeah, still GOT it, baby!”)

Surely not in bolognese! (But definitely in the bechamel that you put in the lasagne WITH the bolognese…)

I’ve been known to write in a tabarro when the thermostat’s turned down…

I can vouch for the molcajete, which puts every other mortar I’ve ever used in the shade, and for their bean pots!
