The song that is in this short, One by One, came from the concept album of The Lion King, Rhythm of the Pride Lands. The song is even featured in the stage musical version of the film. Also, it is one of my personal favourite songs from the album and musical along with He Lives in You.

Here is Mickey, as a Plush Puppet from Folkmanis, and Cheburashka. I am very pleased that I owned these two because they were two of the most historically important characters in the history of animation. In fact, certain people from their respective studios has visited each other.

I have a stellar idea of how to do an adaptation of The Twits. Make it into a television special made by Magic Light Pictures, the same company that did Revolting Rhymes (another Roald Dahl book) and one of my all time favourites, The Gruffalo.

These characters are Gena the Crocodile and Cheburashka from Russia's Soyuzmultfilm, the latter basically being the Russian equivalent of Mickey Mouse. Soyuzmultfilm has done many shorts, one feature film in 2010 with Japan and even a then-upcoming animated series featuring these beloved characters.

With the news that Rebecca Sugar and Annapurna Pictures are making an animated film with the Moomins, I would like to remind you that there is an animated series called Moominvalley. When I saw that series for the first time, I immediately became enraptured in Tove Jansson's world.

Whilst going through the art of The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!, I found some concept art of The Surprisingly Curvaceous Pirate and I have to say, she is certainly attractive but I will say her final look is just as charming as her initial looks.

Asriel - When in his god form, it is a youthful English accent with an undertone of disturbing nonchalance but when he gets confronted his childishness shows. When Asriel reverted back to being what he really is, which being a child, he had a softspoken voice

Today I have sad news. Radna Sakhaltuev, a legendary Ukrainian artist and art director on David Cherkasky's films, has passed away on August 31, 2025. I always loved his style as it seems like a blend between Ronald Searle and the Fleischer brothers. He shall be dearly missed.

Today, I have seen The Lion King Musical in The Princess of Wales Theatre and I ENJOYED it but my favourite highlight, without an ounce of doubt is Zazu, since he is always my personal favourite character in the film and I LOVED his fourth wall breaks. ('This did not happen in the cartoon!')
