Oh yeah, I also replaced the pods with some new black ones with a small modification to the little boots they're on (honestly I have no idea what they're actually called, but it helps smooth the airflow into the carbs, which is important as they are CV carbs. Haters say you can't put pods on CVs 🙏

Made a diy gasket for the right crankcase with some paper gasket material and permatex paste (got a bit of overfill to clean), oil change rotella t4 + kn111. I am now waiting for some float bowl assembly parts to fix a leak (worn float needle, I reckon). Small pull at 25% throttle. Hits 65mph np.
