Love water, humor, travel, big boats and prefer common sense and logic to magical thinking. Bilingual and bicultural, threading the needle between France and the US
Heard of Oyssey, a startup in New York and Florida (of course) supplying political affiliation and party donation information to potential buyers in a neighborhood? I think it's a dreadful idea. Way to further divide America.

New Year’s eve in Broward County, southern Florida. You can overlook the traffic noise if you put your mind to it.

Best wishes for 2025, friends. May you always find beauty and ways to block out the noise.

Does it get more Florida than a Publix with a boat dock?
This new Publix has Florida boaters abuzz: It has a dock for their grocery-store pit stops
The sight of a new Publix store with a dock has drawn some excitement from boaters. “Yeah it is real,” one person assured another.

Quite the scene in Miami this week. Taking it all is the 100 meter Feadship Moonrise. She is a stunner.

A friend reshared this on his Facebook page on October 21. I recently found out he died unexpectedly at home four days later.

Not at all ready for Thanksgiving, but I got a taste of merry making in London.

Love taking the train. I wish I could do that all the time. Plus flights to London got cancelled due to wind. Well, except for losing my suitcase down the escalator (later retrieved), I made it without hustle. Warming up for a working weekend in London.

I have the strangest and most amazing job as editor of a magazine about big yachts. How did I get there? I’ll tell you later
