it's so fulfilling and comforting to be around people you don't have to explain a single thing to. i don't fully realize how exhausting it can be in the real world until I have some extended time with my trans friends

I do digital art and lately I've been intentionally working in lower resolution on some pieces just because it feels more real. I've found the presence of flaws are actually extremely important to video/image/audio feeling human to me.

Iowa approved a similar bill a couple years ago, and the amount of private school billboards I've seen go up in the last few weeks disgusts me. they can afford ads while public school class sizes get larger, materials more outdated, and books outright banned
