They could at least paint a yellow line down ALL of it.

It is a head on crash or side swipe about to happen. You can’t pull over from the narrow lane. I do stop and feel like I’m about to get hit head on or side swiped. That’s why I’m saying it is very dangerous! It is not safer for drivers. It is more dangerous!

As a resident, I’m telling you that I feel it is now very dangerous. People drive down the middle of the street. I avoid Summer Street. To me, the changes make it undrivable. Don’t gas light my experience. I go slow. It would be interesting to see a car count from years ago vs. today.

Clearly not a safe street for drivers( we matter too!). Summer Ave. can’t be driven on due to the risk of a head on crash or side swipe, now this dangerous choke point on Somerville Ave. Bonus points for the dangerous one third of a lane lines leading to head on crashes for a few weeks.

I went to S&S in Medford and Somerville to avoid the entertaining crowd at MB Somerville. Both were out of celery. I got to visit MB anyway!🤣

All should have a speed limit on the community path. Esp. non acoustic.

It is so they can check a box that they did it. They don’t care what everyone writes. They do this for many things. Also, why is it they refuse to rebuild on the same site ? This is obviously the place to put the school (not Trum Field).

It is a consequence of removing the lanes from McGrath. The large street is at a standstill so Waze takes my coworkers from Reading, etc. down Highland to side streets to avoid traffic. Absolutely not a Safer Somerville Street!

Incredibly dangerous intersection for cars. I avoid Summer completely now. Needs a yellow divider for cars on Summer and a way with clear sights to cross from Quincy to Prescott. Absolutely not a Safe Street in Somerville for drivers!

As a local, I’m disappointed that Summer street is now effectively impossible to drive on now due to the danger of head on crashes and the extremely thin road surface for cars. Please paint the yellow line down the middle!
