And for context, I own a Tesla, and an e-bike. My residential area has such wide streets that I have to watch myself when driving because it feels like I should be able to go so fast. Horrible design, and they won't do anything about it but put in narrow, short speed bumps because of fire trucks.

Your plan is probably awesome. The fire dept doesn't like it because they can't go fast so they torpedo it. Or Karen down the street doesn't like bollards. Or the local council rep doesn't like bulbouts/curbouts. Someone complains about bike lanes wasted during winter. So nothing happens.. 😕

I'll say sign up was easy, no hiccups. Sounds like this was a pretty successful "launch".
