Thank you Governor Pritzker for enacting this legislation. While it is not in people’s nature to want to end their lives, the feeling of control that you give to people in dire circumstance is critical. I know this was a tough call. Thanks for being strong enough to make it.

But the Governor needs to sign it. Current requests for him to veto seem to outpace those in support. Get the word out and give easy ways to show support!

When my father was suffering with Glioblastoma, my dog was suddenly diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that was causing him great pain and anxiety. That I was able to help my dog pass peacefully to whatever is next, but was unable to do anything but watch my father suffer was unimaginable.
