As an old person who spends time with other old people, I have also lost my optimism. A serious amount of my generation needs to die off ASAP in order for humanity to move forward. Luckily, most of the orange man's actions in health care etc will facilitate that.

My house rep is Van Drew, who was elected as a Democrat and then switched parties and pledged 'undying loyalty ' to you know who. We have a contentious relationship on email. I like sending him all the headlines generated by his orange god.
