For context, watching Father Brown and hit episode 2. I love this series, but I haven't watched season 1 before.

This whole problem goes back to my outlining vs writing dynamic, IE:

Outlining: Oh this will be perfect.

Writing: Oh, but this... This might be good too...

That PLOT is actually PLOT with all caps because Person C is essentially an antagonist who causes a lot of character development (ie PAIN) for Person A.

Person B is supposed to have a different plotline.

...But A and B have such great chemistry...
