It’s just too hard to build in urban areas of blue states. I’d prefer these things be built somewhere then not at all

NYC politics is just so dark. Even though Austin has way worse urbanism, it feels better for my soul to live in a place where the electeds are essentially all trying to make things better.

Nah, I think Trump is sui generis. There’s no other Republican Trump’s followers would die for the way they would for him. Just look at how Vance or DeSantis are treated
