I would never stop being friends with someone because we disagree on politics. But I would absolutely stop being friends with someone because we disagree on moral issues. I see too many people excusing moral deficiency by calling it politics.

If admission to heaven requires hurting people while here on earth then god is not good and I’m not interested in going.
