It takes power over USB, yeah? Maybe check continuity on the pins for the USB connector? Unfortunately I don't see schematics for this thing online and I don't have one anymore.

Finally found a copy of the second laserdisc for Atari E.R.I.C. in-store computer sales kiosks from the early 80s. I have a decent rip of disc 1 up on IA; I’ll try to get this one up soon too. archive.org/details/atar...

Ok, I’m not saying it’s the prettiest job ever but it works?!?! Video and mouse input are fixed at least, the realtime clock is untested. Going to finish reassembly later; I need a break.

I’ve never repaired traces this small before. The vias come back up halfway across the board so I couldn’t easily jumper them. They have continuity now though! Glad I bought the microscope.
