One of many powerful signs at the peaceful protest today in Lenexa, KS. I estimate 1200 people attended on this cold and dreary day. The energy of the crowd was palpable. The air was electric with determination and resolve.

Finally getting around to reading Danielle Allen’s latest book. I am excited to read it because I feel I need a refresher on democracy and its promises.
