Growing up we opened gifts on Christmas Eve. Woke up to filled stocking Christmas morning. After getting married, husband’s tradition was opening gifts Christmas Day & that’s what he preferred, so a switch was made.

And in case you needed confirmation from an American: yes, prices at the grocery store are noticeably much higher.

Now I have to remember to avoid a whole section of the store to bypass having to explain to people why I can’t switch to their electric co. And literally every single time someone is standing directly in front of what I need to put in my cart so I can move tf on!
