What are your thoughts on cam nyko? Liked the look of him when o first seen him at port last year. Haven’t heard any whispers about a possible mid season draft?

I think they’ll go jones on a wing, Roberts sub and play Hobbs

I know langers is a gun fwd but we have a hole with our second winger (el hawli third wing/7th defender). What if we could have langers as the 2nd wing and jones/Edwards could play his fwd role.

The way he played bumrah was the exact way he needed to. Otherwise he was a sitting duck. Just needed to play siraj with a little more restrain

Think it puts us around middle of the road for both. This is why I expect us to be a decent team and not give them an out for being young or rebuilding. Still think we should be aiming for a top 6 finish imo

By best six I mean two rotations. Merrett parish and Durham
Caldwell Martin tsatas. Plus our Ruck. Means Durham, Martin and Merrett may need to play some different positions for a small amount of time like a high half fwd, wing and even half back.

Agreed, though I think tsatas is in our best 6 mids. El
Hawli and Roberts are in my hb/wong rotation and we were crying out for Kako last year

What you think is our best 23 that you would line up with and the averages of that 23. For me I would have Tsatas, Kako, El Hawli, Roberts definitely in our best 23

Have you tried to do a best 23 and calculated the average age and games played of that? I think that tells us what we should expect this year

Perkins, redman and wright for me

One of Ralph’s better articles. Our best 22 on paper looks good but i thought last year. Definitely need a better balance fwd of the ball, speed across the ground, bounce of hb and a better 2nd key defensive options. Hopefully all of that will be on the list come March.
