I remember installing a spider chip in mine when i was 18 and getting easily another 6 years of high fun out of it. I had so much fun with it I ended up giving it away to a friend so he could do the same. I know that he had a blast.

Micro machines on sega and n64 were both awesome. Not quite the same vibe but still looks fun!

Wait until you learn about the many, many full mario64 rom hacks that faithfully recreate the magic again in whole new maps/worlds. Many sm64 rom hacks are console compatible. Get after it!!

Hopefully you’ve got space for the CPU radiator fans install. Getting all of the fan parts in the correct order of operations is a pain in the buttocks, because theres so little space for hands in the case! Your case looks a little bit roomy though

Ya, perhaps an art more than a science to extract clear “why did you leave” signal. I’m in tech. High wages in the space. Anecdotal, water cooler conversations in my experience suggests that it is certainly a hot factor. “More studies” they say 😵💫
