More level 2s in places that people visit will open these up for people that pass through the city or just need a quick charge to make it somewhere.

I believe though that more level 2s will make roadtrips through more dense areas easier due to the lower demand from that population to use those dc chargers. For example here in chicago, even with our current amount of level 2 chargers, we still have all of our EA chargers packed basically all day.

Yeah for sure and I'm not against the build out more dc chargers or DC chargers with a good amount of 50kw stalls(for those bolts man, always hogging the 350kw for like 1.5 hours) and even would be a proponent of more depoyments in heavily trafficked routes.

Though I do agree that maybe a combo of a good amount of level two with maybe 2-4 50kw chargers might serve a community well.

Yeah but my only trepidation is that for those 20-50kw chargers you still need all the AC-DC components and standard Level 2 chargers are way simplier and you can have way more of them for the same electric capacity, meaning you have more people charging at the same time.

I think though that another good alternative would be to add way more level two chargers in locations were people spend a good amount of time. Definitely cheaper deployment, still convenient and eases the load on the grid. Though I'm not saying that we shouldn't still build out DC Fast Chargers.
