I’ve been waiting for my pre-order but I found this copy of Good Old-Fashioned Korean Spirit by Kim Hyun Sook and @ryanestrada.com at #AASL The publisher had an ARC- now I have some plane reading and a new book to talk up with students. (Fingers crossed the color editor is ready at home🤣)

You can fit about 20+\-standard tankobon in one of these bathroom style bins from Target - I can also fit in a small stand to keep things from falling over. They are 12x6x4 and were a few $ ea.

Found this giant teddy bear on the library circulation desk this morning. A few students helped brainstorm who to pass it along to next and how to sneak it into their room. Special thanks to my school sunshine committee- it did make me smile today.

NH Graphic Novelist Marek Bennett visited our students to talk about how he makes comics from primary sources- and run a workshop on how to get started drawing and making mini-comics. Super fun and the students loved it. Thanks to CLIF each student left with his newest book!
