The moment of Qifrey flying up with Coco!!!!! How they've animated the magic coming from the sigils!! It's so good! I know not every moment of magic will that high of production, but it still looks so good!

I can NOT wait to see Qifery's water magic in action

Comparison. There's about two years between when I finished this illustration and when I finally went back and made it's background better.

Overall I'm so happy with how much the background strengthens this piece and adds to the naturalism that I was going for and cements it as one of my favorites
Similar illustration as the one above but with a slightly different background. The mountains are blocker with strange patterns of dark purple and use the of a mid-tone pink its heavier. The trees are blotchy and overaly sense of depth is weaker. Same illustrations as above. It's blurred background shows the the mountains in a more natural incline and stronger progression into space with the trees in the right corner less shapely and more refined.
