This will continue if we citizens do nothing when our country is being deconstructed. So many of the good things we have done as a country is being destroyed. We must speak up, rally, march, talk to elected officials, and be witnesses to what is happening. Our voices need to be heard.

It is with deep sadness/anger to hear how the institue was violated by the Trump administration in the past couple of days. This is even though the institute is not a government dpt and Trump representatives did not have the right to enlist the FBI and local police to invade and occupy the building.

I was able to share what we were doing at the Peace Pavilion. How we were teaching children about peace. The visit was a memory I cherish.

Several years I had the opportunity to visit the United States Institute of Peace in Washington DC. Our small group were meeting with some of the leaders of this 501c3 organization. Specifically we talked about the education for peace that the institute provided around the world.
