I've loved this story, the grim-grinning narrative of a lonely student and their monster who is not-a-cat, for so long - and I've been a huge fan of Archive of the Odd for even longer. Digital copies of the issue can be bought RIGHT NOW on their site: archiveoftheodd.bigcartel.com/product/preo...

Finally, my queer fae story “Like The Rain That Floods The Fields” was published as a part of the Butch Fairy Zine. It features genderfuckery, fae hookups, and strange bargains, and the zine is filled beginning to end with amazing art and tales:

First, my sci-fi survival novelette “The Suture Cycle” was published by dogleech books! If you like body horror and messy queer dynamics, enjoy questions about the nature of the Self, or are passionate about Star Trek and Frankenstein, then this is the book for you:

Definitely would advise checking on the content warnings for all of the above, depending on what tone you're feeling like reading at what time, but they're all phenomenal books, and have all had big impacts on my perception and understanding of gender possibilities 🩵

Seconding the recommendations I'm seeing below for The Woods All Black (Lee Mandelo) and pretty much anything by Andrew Joseph White. I'd also love to recommend The Scandalous Letters of V and J (Felicia Davin) which is a queer & trans historical fantasy epistolary romance (and one of my favorites!)

That’s the majority of my published work from this year - but you'd better believe I've got a lot of wonderful things coming your way in 2026! Up next, I'm guest editor for the 59th issue of Eye to the Telescope, collating speculative poetry around the theme of "Immortality."
