Hey, I love Indian food. Does that count for something ?

Joking aside, I still have a modesty active FB account, because that's where Romanians and all my relatives are

We'll get out of this digital serfdom, eventually. In a glorious future.

I'm curious if a methodologically rigorous study of anything can be done about software -- too many factors involved, too expensive.
However all the big software companies internally are done with transitioning almost everything to types, so that's convincing enough for me, the issue is settled.

Funny!

But the objection that GenAI might train on its own output is not so impressive. In fact, another kind of model, alpha0 did train on "its own output" in a sense (certainly not on any data from the world out there at large).
LLMs might be able to do the same for programming.

Interested, but not ready to say I can be helpful, just yet. Last time I wrote ocaml was at 3.0.something, 20-ish years ago.

BTW, is there a really good place on "how to get started with modern Ocaml" other than ocaml.org/docs/install..., trying to avoid duplication.
Installing OCaml · OCaml Documentation
This page will help you install OCaml and the OCaml Platform Tools. | These instructions work on Windows, and Unix systems like Linux, and macOS.

Tell me about it, my other passport is Romanian =))

Thinking if I should take refuge from Trump, but like we have a saying there, you escape the 👿 only to meet his father ...

So "patience and tobacco" like we also say.

In the long term ...

That's just about right in terms of how much left over American prestige is left with in Europe these days.

Oh, the profits American brands of all kind will reap from the masterful leadership of the president !

For the future we'll try to remember that "it's a marathon, not a sprint" -- standard bs for employee training, but it applies.

Politicians learned to run every 4 years for 2 months worth of electioneering, after which, they wing it any which way they win a battle or two. So here we are.

Surprised?

In retrospect we'll have to ack it's been a long time coming and nobody paid attention.

Yeah, the food is excellent there. Plus the view, ambiance etc. Can't beat it.

Depends if you want a 10$ burger or a 20$ burger. For a 20$ burger I'd definitely go to Newcastle golf club. Actually Echo falls has the best burgers in the summer, I swear. Not sure in the winter with lower traffic and reduced personnel, but Newcastle is definitely worh the drive up the hill.

It's a toss-up what the supreme court will do with this junk, hope I'll be proven wrong

The orange one claims there is a category of children "not subject to the jurisdiction of states".

Reality check: states arrogate jurisdiction over children, even of H1b and any kind of children that happen to reside on their territory.

The order is xenophobic, it is evil and legally utter shit.
