I thought the significance of 2% was just that it was what the Fed decided. If they were to look at 3% and say "*shrug* good enough", what mechanism would cause market conditions to favor any particular value?

Seems unlikely companies would want to pay for robots to do things customers are apparently willing to do themselves.

The Threads algo is definitely better at being engaging out of the box.

Bluesky feels more like classic Twitter did to me where you really need to put in effort to curate it into something you like.

Either way, not wanting to go on social media seems like a positive outcome.

Great headline, but the subhead implying he's at all conflicted seems dubious.

The take that he's just blowing with the political winds, no personal convictions involved, feels more accurate.
