I have a current interest in catesetums. I like that they don't require attention all year long. The dormancy period gives me a break.

I'm allergic to dogs but fit the other categories: orchid enthusiast and South Florida resident. Here's a currently blooming #orchid.

You're growing an oncidium (the long cascade that may have a chocolate scent) and a phalaenopsis (pink spots).

Do nothing with it for a while longer.

Keep your normal routine until the roots are more established (longer and likely more of them) and there are more leaves. Then you can remove the young plant and pot it accordingly. Be very careful not to damage the root tips.

If you click on the # in the upper right side of your app, you will be able to edit your feeds. You can search for gardening and add it to your list.

Is there an orchid only feed?

Of course you need that #orchid. It will be something to look forward to this spring when it's no longer dormant and ready to grow.👍
