I only notice problems in Microsoft programs. Everything else seems fine but I wonder if these could be because of a slow internet connection or an older computer?

Trying to see the context of an event in my calendar and the body of an email often takes several minutes. I have tried to open them in the app and in different browsers or refresh. Today I had to try a new computer to be able to see the body of an email in Outlook.

In another file, I wrote a paragraph and then wanted to edit it. Every time I put my cursor over the errors and clicked, it started in the correct place but then jumped up to a previous paragraph and made the edits/errors there. Trying to correct spelling using spellcheck also moves my cursor.

I kept a file open most of the day so I could add to it as I thought of things. Just now, all the changes from today were there but when I added one more item, all changes from today disappeared. Pressing "undo" does not fix the issue. The file was never closed so it's not an issue with syncing.

I'm worried that the astronomically high barriers mean that people feel compelled to take short cuts in order to have more pubs to make their CVs more competitive. The current system may undermine quality science.

Agree! I'm my specific context, we have a short workshop and p-values are seen as desirable. But this is a good reminder that they're not always appropriate.
