So far, Mamdani seems to be hysteria-proof. Enviable quality in any politician.

Stefanik is so reliably unpleasant. Meanwhile, Hochul seems to be finding the kind of boldness that voters tend to appreciate.

This is not the first time such events being protested have been called "settler recruitment fairs" or venues for "selling land in the WB."

What is the actual purpose of the aliyah event? (It's not clear to the general public what is drawing such ire.)

Israel is a serious warning sign to any nation where democracy is compromised by right-wing crazies to a point where politicians don't need to pay attention to the concerns of the political left.

If other nations who care sought to help the Israeli left, that could go a long way toward peace.

Much talk this morning about Moderate vs Progressive Democrats. These are the two mainstream American parties today, roughly equivalent to Republicans (centrist Dems) and Democrats (progressive Dems).
The Trump Republican party is not the Republican Party. It's a 3rd thing -- the Radicalized Party.

Well, if you can sell this as "Democrats to the rescue," it might have a small chance of succeeding.

However, the idea that Trump, Thune and Johnson can be trusted is unsupported by most Democratic voters; and their dishonesty is positively relied upon by Republicans.
