As someone who lives a relatively boring existence, it’s one time of the year that I know everyone’s watching. And it makes me feel like I’m part of something, even if I don’t always enjoy everything about the show. It’s a small night to feel some happiness while celebrating the hobby I love most

It was comforting to know that everyone was watching the same thing as well. I’ll have a program on the tv and my iPad and there will be 2 different commercials. everything is targeted. It does feel gross

You gotta appeal to what she likes. Reality tv or a niche sport or antiques roadshow or whatever it is. Tell her it’ll be like standing next to them. Like she’s there. She’ll love and appreciate it on a whole new level.
If that doesn’t work, go back and take another look. And get another hot dog.

Isn’t it normal for most places but the game awards? Idk, awards are inherently dumb anyway imo.

I just rewatched it and it looked like he was actually hurt and looking to the sidelines as for what to do. I’m assuming there was likely some confusion or they didn’t have a sub ready (or someone wasn’t aware they didn’t have a time out) so they told him to kneel so they could get the right sub in

That’s one conspiracy theory I also ‘believed’ - the dead internet theory. Seems to come more true every day

I immediately ran and checked mine as well. So far so good, but I don’t trust them. I’m not paying $120/year for essential for a console I don’t often play.

Did it not make you a little nervous that they just repeated the same scenes like 6 or 7 times? And they kept saying how awesome the game was and how awesome insomniac is etc? Maybe that’s the cynic in me, or maybe it’s just a may 2027 game but PlayStation wanted some good vibes now?
